A small London studiothat builds the whole thing.
Websites and the systems behind them, for businesses, schools, healthcare providers, charities and public bodies since 2012.

The Website Factory London started as one designer taking on web projects for London businesses. The work grew from websites into the systems behind them: customer databases, learning platforms, online shops, applications that replaced paper. In 2021 the studio was incorporated. It is still small, still run by the people who do the work, and still based in London.
No clock on the consultation, no end date on the support
The first stop for anyone wanting to find out about you is your website, so our number one concern is a good working relationship. We'd rather take the time to get to the bottom of what your business is about than rush a launch.
We're also honest about what we are. We're not a partner of the software vendors we work with; we're practitioners who have implemented their tools for real clients and will tell you plainly when a tool is the wrong fit.

Eleven countries,one London studio.
Six things wenow refuse to skip.
Listen longer than feels necessary
Every project that went wrong, for anyone, went wrong at the brief. So our consultations have no time limit and we don't quote until we understand the business.
Design on paper first
Sketches, then wireframes, then a prototype, then code. The telemedicine platform was drawn on blank paper before a line was written, and it shipped on three platforms without a redesign.
Own the whole stack
Website, ordering, EPOS, CRM, learning platform, hosting, email. When one team builds all of it, the pieces fit and there's one number to call.
Open source where it serves you
Moodle, BigBlueButton, ERPNext, WordPress, Django. No per-seat licences, no vendor lock-in, and you own what we build.
Stay after launch
Some clients have been with us for over a decade. A four-year restaurant retainer, classrooms running since 2020. The relationship is the product.
Say no when it's the right answer
Sometimes you don't need a new site, or the CRM you have would work if someone configured it. We'll tell you, because we'd rather keep you than bill you.
Chosen by fit, not fashion. Open source wherever it serves you better, because it usually does.
